I have been fortunate to live in places with powerful ceramic legacies; California, USA, Shanghai, China and now San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
With respect for these deep traditions, I strive to create beauty through form, color, subtle details and the imperfections that arise from working in this medium.
My pieces celebrate this rich history through thoughtful use of multiple traditional techniques such as coil and slab building, wheel throwing and slip casting.
The vision for the final piece guides the choice of clay and the method for creating it, always allowing ample room for inspiration and improvisation along the way.
I take great joy in collaborating on projects, whether that is custom tables for a home or dinnerware for a restaurant, I work closely with the client to create the perfect fit.
Artistry and passion. Form and function.
Each piece is meticulously handcrafted to bring warmth and elegance to your design project.
